| Why
would I want a reseller plan? |
|
There's actually several reasons. Here are the two most
common:
Cost
If you have multiple websites you need web hosting
for, then a reseller plan is likely the cheapest way to do
it. That's because you can have as many websites hosted as
you wish, all for one low monthly price. In other words,
your monthly price does not go up when you add more
websites to your reseller plan.
Control
When you need a new hosting account setup, you do not have
to order a new hosting account for it and wait for it to
be setup. Instead, as a reseller, you simply login to your
WebHost Manager and create a new hosting account in
"real time". You have complete control over
creating hosting accounts (and deleting them for that
matter). You also have control over the amount of storage
space, monthly bandwidth, email addresses, etc that are
assigned to the new hosting account.

| How
much does a reseller plan cost? |
|
The price of the RT-20 reseller plan is $30.00 per
month. That is our smallest reseller plan, but it's also the
plan that the vast majority of our customers are on.
There's no need to start off with a larger plan if you
don't need it yet, since you can always upgrade seemlessly
to a larger plan later.

| Once
I'm a reseller, how much does it cost each time I
sell/setup a new web hosting account? |
|
Absolutely nothing! Resellers can setup an unlimited
number of web hosting accounts for free.... no extra
charges at all. You do this in real-time from your WebHost
Manager.

| Can
I really setup an "unlimited" number of hosting
accounts? |
|
In fact, the "number" of web hosting accounts
you can setup is indeed unlimited. There is nothing in the
server stopping you from setting up as many accounts as
you wish. What you have to keep in mind however, is that
each reseller plan has limits placed on storage space and
monthly bandwidth. As long as the total amount of storage
space and/or monthly bandwidth are not
exceeded, you can continue to setup new hosting accounts.

| What is
"Storage Space" and "Bandwidth"? |
|
Storage space
Storage Space is simply the amount of disk space (or
hard drive space) that gets assigned to your hosting plan. A typical
website may require 5 or 10 MegaBytes (MB) of storage space... but of
course, that depends on how many images and pages there are. Each
reseller plan has a total amount of storage space allowed
that is shared among all the hosting accounts you create.
Also, when you create a new hosting account, you must set
the total amount of storage space you're going to allow it
to use as a maximum.
Bandwidth
Bandwidth is a measure of how much traffic is
visiting your websites. It includes visitors to your websites, incoming
and outgoing email messages, and FTP traffic. It's typically measures
in GigaBytes (GB), where 1 GB = 1,024 MB. Many people commonly refer
to " data transfer" as "bandwidth". By definition,
bandwidth is a measure of the "size of the pipe",
whereas data transfer is a measure of the "information going
through the pipe". So when we say that a hosting account is
allowed 5 GB of bandwidth, what we really mean to say is
that the account is allowed 5 GB of data transfer per
month.

| How will I be
billed/invoiced? |
|
As soon as you place your order with us through our online order form, your credit card will immediately be charged
the amount of your first month. The date you placed your order will then become your "anniversary date" meaning that on that same date every month, you will automatically be charged
the monthly fee for the next month's hosting (this is assuming you
choose a monthly term). This is called recurring billing, and will continue every month until such time as you cancel your account. Billing will stop immediately upon you canceling your account.

| How will the charges
show up on my credit card statement? |
|
Charges will show as having come from either BISHMORE (short for Bishmore
Holdings Ltd., our parent company), or WORLDPAY (WorldPay is our payment
processor: www.worldpay.com).

| Must
I use a credit card to place an order? |
|
No. We also accept PayPal. But we do not accept
payments by debit, money-transfers, checks or cash.
|
| I
want to sell 50
MB accounts, and get the RT-20 plan. Can I then only sell 40 accounts (2000/50 = 40)? |
|
Absolutely not! Both the storage space and bandwidth limits
imposed on your reseller plan, are based on the total amount of
space used by all your hosting accounts combined...
not the total amount of space "given" to those
accounts. In other words, you can sell 100 hosting accounts and
assign each one a storage space limit of 100 mb. If the average
account only uses 10 mb of storage space, then only 100 x 10 mb =
1,000 mb is being used. That's only half of what you're allowed
in the RT-20 plan!

| What if I go over the
storage space or bandwidth limits of my reseller plan? |
|
If you have one of our smaller reseller plans, you can simply upgrade to the next larger plan, and your storage and
bandwidth limits will be increased. If you have one of our
larger reseller plans and you go over your limits,
then it may be more economical for you to upgrade to one of
our dedicated servers.
Upgrading to a larger reseller plan is completely
seamless. Nothing needs to be done to your hosted accounts
or reseller plan at all. We just increase your allowable
limits.
Upgrading to a dedicated server involves copying your
accounts over to your own server. We will do this for you
as part of setting up a new dedicated server for you. You

| Can
I host international domain names? |
|
Yes. We support all domain name extensions available throughout the world. The three most popular are .com, .net and .org. Examples of other domain name extensions are: .ca,
.co.uk, .com.au, .info, .biz, .tv, .ws, .cc, .us, .bz, .name, .de,
.jp.... and there are many more available.

| Does the
monthly price include the cost of registering a domain name? |
|
No. If you do not already have a domain name, then you will have to register one separately.
You can register one through us for $19.95 US per year.

| Will
there be any ads on my (or my customer's) website(s)? |
|
No! That is, not unless they are ads that you design into your
website(s). Some budget hosting companies offer very cheap web hosting, but have a stipulation that an ad for their company will be placed at the top or bottom of your website. That is not the case with our
reseller plans. Our reseller plans are 100% "ad-free". In
fact, we even went to great lengths to ensure all our
control panels are completely unbranded. That way, you can
sell hosting accounts to your customers and they will not
know that we are your supplier.

| What
forms of payment do you accept? |
|
You must either have a credit card or a PayPal account to order a ResellersToday reseller plan. We accept
both Visa and Master Card credit cards. We do not accept debit, money orders or checks.

| Are
your order forms secure? |
|
Absolutely. We use WorldPay as our credit card payment
processor, and all order forms where you enter your payment
information are actually hosted on the secure WorldPay system.
WorldPay are specialists in secure online transactions.

| Can
I resell your accounts? |
|
Certainly..... in fact, that's the whole point! You can setup as
many accounts as you wish, and either use them yourself, or resell them to your own customers.
You can charge your customers whatever you wish for the web
hosting accounts you create for them.

| Can
I resell your reseller plans? |
|
Yes! We recently introduced a program whereby you can
resell our reseller plans to your own customers without
having to first get your own dedicated server. We've setup
"preferred pricing" for all existing customers
to be able to buy our reseller plans at a discount. You
can then resell them to your customers for however much
you like.
Becoming a Preferred Reseller
To qualify for the preferred pricing, you need only be
an existing customer. Every additional reseller plan you
order after your first one, will be at the preferred
reseller lower pricing levels.

| Will
you remain anonymous to our customers? |
|
Yes. Our nameservers are all based on the serverstoday.com
domain name, which is owned by us. So even if you didn't setup
your own custom (private) nameservers and just used ours, any customers of
yours that decided to go digging for information would simply
see that you are hosting them on a ServersToday.com server. They
will not find ResellersToday through our nameservers, so we
remain completely anonymous to your customers.
All CPanel control panels (and WebHost Manager reseller
control panels) are neutrally branded as well, so there's
no way for your customers to find out that we are your
supplier. You can even custom-brand your CPanel's if you
wish.

| Can
I use contents from the ResellersToday website to create
my own web hosting site? |
|
Absolutely! Feel free to use any material you find useful on our site.
But a word of caution.... we promote ResellersToday.com quite aggressively
on the internet. It is therefore not inconceivable for your customers
to happen across our website if they go looking for another web
hosting company. If they do, you wouldn't want your site looking too
much like ours, since it may become obvious that you are a reseller of
ours.... or vise versa :)

you offer Technical Support? |
|
Yes! We have several levels of support available to our
customers, all of which are free! We have a library
of over 50 flash tutorials that explain many facets of your
reseller plan and web hosting accounts. We also have two Getting
Started Guides (one for resellers and one for new accounts) that
tell you what you should do first when
you sign up, a Control Panel Help
page that explains all the features available in your control
panel, a Control Panel Demo so you can "try before you
buy", a WebHost Manager Help page, and a technical support staff that is available 24
hours a day, everyday, ready to answer any questions or help
with any problems you may have. We have also put together

| Do
you offer Technical Support directly to my customers? |
|
Not directly. You are responsible for supporting your own customers. However, if you are ever asked a question that you do not know the answer to, you can ask our support staff yourself. Once you get your answer from us, you can then answer your customer. This may seem cumbersome at first, but you'd be surprised at how quickly you'll get to learn the answers to the questions that get asked the most. As time goes on, you won't be having to consult our support staff for every question your customers ask you.
Having said that, we do fully "support" all accounts that you host on our servers. So if you (or your customer) ever finds a problem with any of the accounts, you should send us a support request and we will take care of the issue, and get back to you promptly.

| Can
I have MP3's and/or Video's on my (or my customer's)
websites? |
|
Yes, provided you (or your customers) own the copyright to them.
|
| Do
you allow adult content? |
|
Absolutely NOT. We do not allow any pornography, adult-related material, or links to such websites in our hosting accounts. People caught abusing this policy will have their hosting accounts terminated without warning.
Remember also that you are responsible for ensuring your
customers also abide by our Terms of
Use. Having your own acceptable use policies on your
website is strongly recommended.

Once you submit your order, we will immediately begin setting up
your new reseller plan. Once it's ready, we'll send you a
"Welcome Email" containing your login information, and
everything you need to get started.

long does it take to setup my new reseller plan? |
|
If we receive your order during regular business hours, your
account will be setup within 1 or 2 hours. Otherwise, it may
take up to 12 hours. We still setup accounts at night, on the
weekends, and on holidays, but it just takes a little longer.

| Is
Technical Support also slower on during non-regular
business hours? |
|
NO! Our support staff is always staffed 24 hours a day, 7
days a week, 365 days a year, including all holidays. We feel it
is important to be available to existing customers at all times
in case you need help. It is only our sales staff that is not
always available outside of regular business hours.

| OK I've signed up! How do I view my
website prior to my domain name propagating? |
|
You can immediately view your website prior to your domain name propagating by using the following link:
http://IPaddress/~username
Where "IPaddress" is the IP address given to you in your welcome email, and "username" is the username for your new account which is also given to you in your welcome email. So for example, if we assigned you the IP address of
12.34.56.78, and a username of "youracct", then you would simply browse to:
http://12.34.56.78/~youracct
If you wanted to view a specific page you uploaded, say "contactus.htm", then you would browse to:
http://12.34.56.78/~youracct/contactus.htm
Of course, you will first have to upload your website to be able to view the pages.... and you can do that from within your Control Panel. For more information on doing this, check out our
